Yeah, a couple times in the last decade or so the government shit down and restarted. Unfortunately we lost a lot of files and couldn’t use the system for awhile, but the programs and users causing most of the problems weren’t wiped from the drives so the system restarted with the same problems. We could try putting Norton on our ballots but Russia could still hack them. There’s also the firewall option but a lot of our admins are power hungry and use firewalls to block users they don’t like so we can’t trust them to block malicious users only. The best solution is for system users to stop clicking spam and downloading bloatware- and take some responsibility for maintaining the system- but that won’t work least of all for that fact that many of our users have SUDO but don’t even know what that means.
