I mean if you’re trying to push someone into doing what you want them to do when they’re not in the mood or simply can’t handle it at the time, you’re prolly kinda being an asshole too
I don't ask people to accommodate me. Empathy is one thing, it's another when an entire facility is shut down because one individual did not conduct forward planning.
"You're being really mean to me."
"I have anger issues."
"Yeah but that's no excuse"
^ an actual conversation between me and an ex-friend, who was a super rude person who used "anger issues" and "survived cancer" as an excuse to be an asshat

Yeah and there’s something wrong with that. Anger issues aren’t an excuse
What I personally see a lot of the time though is someone feeling depressed or anxious or out of it, and don’t want to be put in a certain situation. But that situation is forced on to them by someone.
Like as an example: someone just not wanting to go somewhere because they’re upset over something, but their friend pressuring them to go anyways
Your failure to plan does not constitute an emergency to me.

Everybody is going through something.
If you can't function in a society, stay at home
