Sounds fake. 1-3 cups of salt? that would fill a water bowl by itself. Adding water would be like salt syrup. There's no way a dog would drink that.

While I agree it sounds fake based on context, I disagree that a dog wouldn't drink it. If not offered any other option they will still try it, and dogs have died on trips to the beach with owners who didn't think to bring fresh water along for their dog.
