Except that monitor is for semi-pros, and they often already have a 3rd party mount for their professional monitors on professional spaces, so they would just end up tossing the stand. It's not meant for watching Netflix on your desk. (though the monitor isn't good enough for extremely critical work, like big budget movie studios won't use this but small ones, freelance editors, big YouTube creators, etc. probably will)

I applaud your sensibility. Hopefully you have better luck than I did when this dropped and I tried to explain this to people along with some realtors of enterprise hardware procurement vs consumer and the fact that just because price or whatever factors are the heaviest weighted ones in our own decisions doesn’t mean that everyone else has the same needs or priorities we do. Hand folded kitchen knives are no better than a same quality non folded knife and Hardwood paneling is an inferior material to quality engineered wood. A 1950’s Kirby vacuum works better than a dyson- but these are different products for different people and not every product is made for you.
