Built mini ones with my dad and one if his art buddies and sent the day seeing who could fling waterballoons the furthest. It was an epic day for sure

I once built one out of LEGO and some quarters (I couldn't get enough weight with just LEGO bricks, so I built a little LEGO box that had quarters in it. It actually worked and I'd play around with it attacking castles I had built.
