Tbh with today's eco friendly vibes I think people might even be on board with "corpse recycling". I know I sure would be.
Why poison the soil with bodies full of embalming fluid and lacquered coffins when you can donate organs and then have a natural burial, all of which helps the Earth, can save lives, AND costs less money than a "regular" burial?
That's still not great for the environment because of the energy input required and the fumes. If anything, I'd go for aquamation (alkaline hydrolysis). Plus you still can't donate people's organs without their/their family's consent.
