I thought diablo 3 was better than 2? I mean, its launch sucked ass, but I heard it got much better as time went on

Most people consider it a huge downgrade due to it simplifying a ton of the character building. I've seen tons of people say d2 was the peak of that genre though I never played it myself

Idk, I only heard about diablo 3 having a rotten launch just recently. Maybe it's the same situation as skyrim and oblivion, a ton of people love skyrim, but older elder scrolls fans hate skyrim for simplifying the system so much
