Kaprosuchus saharicus, meaning "Saharan Boar Crocodile", that lived in what is now North Africa during the Late Cretaceous about 95 million years ago. Named for the 6 tusk-like teeth that stuck out of its mouth, Kaprosuchus actually possessed teeth more like carnivorous dinosaurs (plus binocular vision), suggesting it was a terrestrial crocodile. Measuring up to 20ft long, it would've competed both with its water-bound cousins as well as carnivorous dinosaurs for food. On its upper lip it possessed a keratinous shield protecting the sensitive nares underneath, presumably from thrashing prey, which also gave it the appearance of having a scaly moustache.
