NPC logic

And I get standing up for yourself- but when you are too scared/weak to take out the group of 3 low level thugs or brave the cave rats or whatever- it’s bad enough. But the NPCS who sent the PC to slay a demon or a dragon or some crazy thing like that- then turn around and go full combat when you pick a lock or steal their garden spade- that always gets me too. I get you might refuse to talk, or call the cops or whatever- but really? You’re going to throw hands at the “chosen one” or whatever? Over... a case or something?
