Isn't that the name for a bird as well? I remember seeing something about a "blue tit" I think?

You are correct. There are several species of tit that come in all shapes and sizes

In German they are called Meise - and we also have several versions.

In Canada the chickadee is a specific type of bird haha. The black-capped are really common and absolutely adorable little balls of fluff
