I dunnoh- while it was a little clunky- he “dies,” he “dies” again... they “die” no they don’t. Oh wait- she dies. Oh wait no... he dies.... overall I liked the film and thought it was a decent ending to the story. I will say that there were some real eye roll moments where you could tell they needed to include things they could “toyify,” which itself isn’t SO bad- except when you can literally spot what vehicle or character etc. will be a toy and what price point it will be at. (Jet pack launching sand speeders? Oh. There’s your “base tier” vehicle....) there were a lot of mindless action scenes that were obviously just meant to wow with special effects and scale- like a cheesy park ride, and so many force ghosts.... but... I thought it was overall good and despite what many say- still beats the prequels.
