Sometimes with depression, going outside at all is Really Hard. So, staying outside long enough to get a sunburn feels like Victory

Ah, makes sense. Would have been more readable if she'd said that she'd *had* control over her depression, I guess.

Wow. It’s so sad that child that young would have depression. But she write well and she can really express herself really well. I think her mother should have made her wear sunscreen though. She’s just a kid. just saying.
