Florida handles weather a bit different

To be fair most Floridians still think those that don't leave during a mandatory evacuation and then call 991 when they get in trouble are idiots. But as a general rule long time Floridians do tend to think severe weather is less severe than people in other states. I've heard 3-5 inches (76-126mm) called a little bit of rain.
