We just came back from taking my 4 year old niece to Disneyland, we were a little nervous to take her on some rides because her 8 year old brother wouldn't ride scary things unless we really pushed him, and then wouldn't ride them more than once. We shouldn't have worried, she rode the Haunted Mansion 10 times in one day, whenever we'd ask what she wanted to ride next it was either Ariel, or the Haunted Mansion.
She had the stretching room dialog memorized, she'd stand in the middle of it talking along, "This chamber has no windows, and no doors... Which offers you this chilling challenge: to find a way out! Ha ha ha ha" She did a really creepy laugh.
On one of our last rides I heard a guy behind us quietly say to his girlfriend "This ride isn't very scary, but that little girl is freaking me out."
I felt so proud.
