"But when the world needed him most, he vanished."

When I first saw this show, I was a bit weirded out by it. I don't know why. Something about the way the characters moved and talked felt strange. I got used to the style after a few episodes. And when I finished I thought it was okay, but I didn't really get the hype around it.
Then, I started thinking about it and it hit me: It was incredibly well put together. The world-building, the character arcs, the over-all story right down to the magic system and how entire cultures were built around it. Not to mention how well thought out and balanced it was.
And that's really the core message of the series: balance. And it embodies that in every aspect, or rather every element of its narrative.
Avatar, as heated as the debate is wether its good or not, was fun to watch. Yes it was similar to Pocahontas but there is nothing new anymore. I thought the body transfer part....Oh, that Avatar! Yes this show is great.
