In norway we call chips 'potetgull'. Directly transelated that means 'potato gold' in english..

It's biscuits. Fried chicken and biscuits. Which is really good by the way, especially if you add some mashed potatoes with it.

People in Canada say bum a cigarette and the original meaning of fag was stick which turned into smoke. Americans just like to turn everything into sex and bigotry

Scones are a pretty dense shortbread-like, slightly sweetened baked good in both the UK, Canada and the US, I think.
