Why do people do this?

I fucking hate when people shove birthday person face in the cake not only does it ruin the cake for everyone else it is extremely dangerous. Bakery’s put wooden pegs into cakes. Any cake that isn’t a sheet cake has a hidden possibility to gouge an eye out.
