Teachers truly don't get enough credit.

Teachers in my area, which is southeastern Pennsylvania, make roughly $60,000 a year despite S.A.T. scores going down. Property taxes are getting raised next year because they demand a pay raise, or else they'll go on strike. Based on my experience with teachers? I wipe my butt with this cartoon.

This is very true. One of my teachers saw something in me and coerced me out of my shell, I am currently very proud of what I have been able to achieve (thus far). Another one of my teachers gave me a crude awakening when I thought that the world revolved around me (a little later on in life) and taught me how to overcome being forced into doing something by a figure of authority. Another teacher taught me that you have to stand up for what's right even if the world around you thinks it's wrong. And another teacher taught me that sometimes you're on your own in life with nobody to guide you through a topic. Another teacher taught me biology
