Mr. Rogers let the goats attac from time to time

Difference is, Mr. Rogers still conducted himself in a civil manner. He didn't go around busting faces with knuckles and bricks, screaming and hollering about how unfair is. He had the option, but he chose the solution that solved his problem without violence while it was available to him. I highly doubt Mr. Rogers would condone or endorse physical violence on any level.
