I mean, 4 months ago it was fine to harass, attack, and demonetize cops for crimes they didn't commit, post their faces on social media and put them and their families on blast - not to mention beat people into comas, burn down buildings, tear down statues, rape people in tents, etc etc etc.
They think a couple dozen people entering running in and taking selfies is an insurrection? I invite them go back and look at the "Summer of Love", when organized and militant groups *actually* took over territory from the United States government while proclaiming themselves separate from and unbound. They actually executed people in the street, enforced a warlord type law, and robbed the peaceful citizens while claiming to levy "taxes".
No, when you can make it look like the white people did it, or when you want to cover up half the nation's legitimate concerns and questions about the incoming regime, *then* it's an insurrection. No more "fiery but mostly peaceful protest".
Tens of thousands of troops patrol the streets while the POTUS hides behind razor wire, while political opponents are silenced or blacklisted, while the party in power openly speaks of "deprogramming" people, but Trump is the fascist. You know, they guy they're trying to remove who no longer holds office.
Just because they are so terrified of people deciding in '24 "You know what, maybe I want to vote for the last guy". Yeah, the orange man was a real fucking fascist, thank God for the (undeclared) martial law and the silencing of dangerous political opinions and ideas.
You don't actually have to go to the summer of love - they took over territory in cities this summer. I believe one of them they were trying to turn into a farm or some thing, and the rape tents were in areas the police had been thrown out of or called to leave. Not to mention the streets where they barricaded or cut off peoples' escapes with their vehicles, dragged them out of their cars, and curb stomped them until they almost died.
.
Granted that wasn't a guy in a weird costume entering a political building.... buuuuut it still seemed a tad excessive to me
Didn't it turn out that the FBI knew bad actors were planning this and the people in charge decided not to do anything about it, and that the violence started while Trump was still speaking over a mile away? Also, that antifa agitators were among the ringleaders and actual inciters, while there's video and audio evidence that most of the protesters were actually trying to hold back and talk down the bad actors? Most of whom actually didn't do much, except for the airforce veteran who was executed by a plainclothes officer while a riot officer was right in the line of fire?

Don't do it near any farms, though - it sounds quite similar, so the sheep may mistake it for a mating call
