It's so cheap and you have your favourite songs, study background music, sleep music, podcasts, audiobooks, news, heck you can even learn new languages. If I had to cancel my streaming services, spotify would be the very last on my list. Bye Netflix, bye Disney Plus.

I just use my ipod so I don't have to deal with commercials at all. And it doesn't use my non-existent data

I rip my songs directly from YouTube and put them on my phone. Last time I checked, it was at around 400 songs.
I buy them legally if they're available. If they're not on iTunes, then I'll get them off YouTube.
Did that with the soundtrack to the 1977 cartoon version of The Hobbit, since I couldn't find a digital version anywhere and was definitely not going to pay $100 for a vinyl record

I can also grab videos, I've collected the so-far released Hellava Boss & Hazbin Hotel episodes.
I will die before I subscribe to paid services. I can listen to three ads after three songs, but you wouldn't catch me dead with a subscription to it's premium.
I literally pay 5€ a month (student). That's like grabbing two latte macchiatos to go. A month. And I benefit so much off of it, really :D
And I also have some songs (about 20) that are not on spotify, I actually also convert them from youtube and add them to my spotify, cause that's possible :)
Also my favourite song list has cracked the 700 mark yesterday, and I know I'll never lose that if I lose my phone because I'll always have access to my account. Plus, people often ask me for my playlists and I love sharing them. And @demryn and I have a shared playlist with both our favourite songs, we can both access it, it mixes our music and we always put it on when we're together :)

I don't mind ads but its not a bad deal.
That's crazy. What do you pay for a coffee to go then?
A street stall charges you from ₹10-20 and if you mean Starbucks coffee then it ranges from ₹250-500.
