She was thusly executed for her obvious witchcraft after she single-handily landing docked the vessel and carried her husband ashore

Had to look it up and she died from tuberculosis in 1861. History remembers her as the first female commander of an American merchant vessel. Her son, Joshua, drowned in 1900 aged 43 leaving no descendants.
