What could you figure out from a hair sample that would tell you someone had stones hurled at him or her?
The term stoned came from the person making this post, not the Incan girl whom was sacrificed.. They had been consuming alcohol and smoking marijuana (aka refer, ganja, herb, mary jane etc.)
Well I honestly don't think that they would injure someone that they were going to sacrifice. I mean when they sacrificed someone it was like a gift to the gods, would they really injure/damage something that was supposed to please the gods?
I figured that out in my second post. What I stated there was how can the scientists figure out that the sacrifices were high before their deaths using hair?
We learned about those in Spanish because they're Hispanic ancestors.
But according to what they've found, it was a big honor to be sacrificed like that. They gave their children to the gods.
This girl was part of an Inca sacrifice ritual. Her, 15 years old, along with two other younger children were part of a ritual consisting in drinking an alcoholic beverage and taking some drugs (coca leaves, as scientists reported) and then taken to an underground grave, along with some other object that were meant to help the kids travel to the other side. The substances were meant to help them not feel the freezing cold (which lead them to their death). The Incas believed that they would never die, but just pass to the other side and watch for their tribe along with their ancestors.
