I put cereal in first but sometimes if I still have milk left I add more cereal.

I pour the cereal and the milk at the same time so the mend perfectly.

That's only a good idea if you're planning on eating the whole thing at once....learned that the hard way....

I used to pour in milk first but i switched about 3 months ago its much more effective
