C'est marrant ce surnom, j'ai justement lu "Le goût du moche" hier (un essai sur l'attraction et la définition sociale du kitsch et du ringard), et aujourd'hui quelques "histoires extraordinaires" de Bellemare et quelques pages d'un catalogue d'exposition sur les femmes artistes.

Beaucoup d'entre elles, une certaine Claricia et une religieuse appelée Guda qui enluminaient des manuscrits, Clara Peeters qui se peignait discrètement sur les tableaux et glissait sa signature à plusieurs endroits pour ne pas qu'un homme s'approprie ses oeuvres, la fille d'Hokusai, Hilda af Klint qui faisait de l'art abstrait dès 1908, Catharina Van Hemessen qui a peint le premier autoportrait au chevalet de l'histoire... (C'est dingue, j'ai étudié l'histoire de l'art, eu un cours sur la place de l'artiste dans son oeuvre et elle n'a même pas été mentionnée)

Le roman est top. Je viens de la commencer.
C'est triste pour ces artistes quand même vivant dans l'ombre. Ça craint.

Je lis un livre de Charlotte Bronte. Un roman d'horreur qui s'intitule "The professor".
