Unaffiliated with any delivery company, their name is a combination of their progenitor breeds' names: the Scottish Fold, and the Exotic Shorthair. Another similarly obtained name for them is the Exotic Fold. The fold is question refers to their ears, which look like they've been folded back.
Despite their cuteness, they are recognized as a separate breed only in the Canadian Cat Registry (very nice of them). The breed does originate from Quebec, so that might have something to do with it (even Quebecois cats can't catch a break).
These little munchkins are every bit as cute in temperament as they are in appearance. They're very friendly and affectionate, and they like being petted. They're also pretty intelligent, so keeping them intellectually stimulated is highly recommended. (They do however not represent any guilds.)
