Honestly I'd prefer an M1 Carbine or Grease Gun if I were involved in any kind of street to street combat.

Assuming I'm with the Western Allies, that is. If you're sticking me in the island campaign I'll take a BAR, and I'm anywhere near the eastern front I'll just have to make do with whatever I can pick off of dead comrades and Germans.
