Their debut was more or less the only album I listened to for probably half a year. Before I heard them for the first time I thought they were complete pods just from their looks until a friend put on "Appetite" on permanent rotation when we were all really blitzed to a point of semi-catatonia in some friends basement, and it's not exaggerated to say it changed my life. I liked their follow-ups less, and without Slash, Axl is pretty much a joke, but just a few bands made me roll like they did at that time.
