Well that is sort of one of the major problems with labels. You can call yourself Catholic and never go to church or pray or follow the teachings of the faith. You can consider yourself vegan but you “sometimes eat meat,” you can say that you are Dutch because your DNA test shows that even though you and no one in your family for 200+ years has been born in or even been to Denmark, you don’t speak Danish, and you, your parents, and maybe your grandparents were surprised to find out your Dutch ancestry and have no idea about nor have ever practiced any aspect of Dutch culture. When it comes to sexuality- if you kiss someone of the same sex one time are you gay? What if you sleep with someone of the same sex one time? What if you find someone of the same sex attractive once in awhile? What does it even matter?

Gay, straight, bi, pan, lesbian, queer, hetero, whatever terms etc we want to use for gender or sex or sexuality- who actually cares? If you meet a stranger and have no attraction to them- is your internet going to change because they tell you they are a certain gender or certain sexuality? Most likely not- because you weren’t planning to sleep with them. Duh. If I put a plate of foul smelling disgusting looking slip on the table to offer you to eat- does it matter if I call it dinner or breakfast? You’re hungry or you aren’t. You want what’s on the table or not. If it’s nighttime and you want “breakfast food” does it matter that it is nighttime? If you hate eggs does it matter what time of day I serve them? No. So I mean- ok. You say you’re straight. Doesn’t really make a difference. Are most free agent straight guys going to turn down oral sex from an attractive woman because she says she is a lesbian but is offering?
