I'm trying to develop a personal relationship to a couple of crowes hanging around at the railway station where I start my commute every weekday. Any time I pass them I would nod like "'sup" to them and hope to get a reaction any time soon. Considering to bring along some treats, but they're strong and beautiful beings and I'm just some guy who would try to bribe them for attention. And I'm afraid they'd loathe me for that and give me names in front of my face and I wouldn't get it and think they'd accept me which would be so embarrassing. Seems the only thing we have in common is that we have little respect for the pigeons in their hood. Daft and spineless buggers shitting all over the place. Maybe we can build some relationship like between germans and british throwing shade on the french... I'd love that.
Peanuts with shells or unsalted nuts are supposed to be good for crows. While I'm no expert, crows seem like the kind of people who both understand kindness, living on the edge of society and aren't above a bit of bribery as long as it's the good stuff. Go befriend those crows.

Thanks for encouraging me. On my way to get them some treats.
I'm sad to report the crows are gone. None left, they were a gang of about a dozen and they're all gone. The pigeons are still there so I don't think they were poisoned by the railroad company running the station where the crows used to hang. Maybe they found a better place. Maybe I missed my chance of befriending them and they went somewhere else to give a more brave person a chance to befriend them. I miss them.
