What? Lol absolutely not true. Get 10 years and they are the most insignificant years of your life. Your late 20s and early 30s are where life depends.

Driving is a big one. A friend of mine just had one of his friends killed in a car accident and the other in critical condition because the 19 year old driver was going over 100 on the highway. That's a pretty big thing to live with for the rest of your life.

thats a pretty big thing to deal with at any point of your life, it's unfortunate that it happened, but at least he'll learn his lesson early

Right right of course any time it's a big deal. But that's how he started his adult life, I'm 19 and can't even imagine what he's going through

Okay, but those things are life-changing at any stage. They don't have much to do with teenage years specifically.

A lot of youth crime and teen pregnancy is hyped up, but you are welcome to your opinion. If you truly want to believe that your teen years are the most important part of your life, by all means go ahead.

This. Honestly, high school builds up the importance of your teenage years so much, and then you graduate and realize how much more freedom you actually have. Got bad grades that prevent you from getting into the post-secondary institution of your choice? Take a few adult high school credits or apply as a mature student. Trouble forming social relationships? As an adult, you have greater exposure to a wider community of people who share your interests.
