Mad astronomers tried to ban the development of mechanical clocks in favor of stellar observation for measuring time... regardless of it being day.. or cloudy.
Mad botanists said "these plants aren't indigenous to this place and will therefore struggle to survive making them easy to manage... as excuse to import China berry trees, kudzu, and over 1500 other plants not native to JUST the US.
