A more correct term would be mauled to death. I assume iceshard only has experience with Cocker Spaniels?? Google "Cane Corso" or if you really want to shit, look them up on youtube doing protection work. A dog that size, with that much muscle, power, and jaw pressure could easily rip out someone's throat, crush a human skull or other bones, etc. There are a lot of large breed dogs who are capable of killing a person instantly. The responsibility lies with the human race who developed these breeds to maintain control, and be responsible owners of large breed dogs. (I am a German Shepherd breeder, most of my kennel lines come directly from Germany and their entire pedigrees are filled with IPO titles)
I don't think this is right, 8 people this year have been attacked by sharks and 5 of them died. There is still 3 more months and this is only where I live.
The problem with these stats are they only give raw numbers. I'd like to know the PERCENTAGE of people who die from lightning vs getting struck by it. Sorta like this:
13 people are killed annually by vending machines. 26 people are in danger from a vending machine annually. Therefore, vending machines have a 50% mortality rate.
