Choosing to be an honorable warrior always includes hardships, they know that. But it's the job of the non-warriors to stand behind them. Much respect to the warriors both standing and fallen!!! Rip you've earned it!
Actually with the crying kid- the Soldiers flag gets passed down to spouse then the kids. Since the kid is getting it, that means he has no more parents- makes it sadder
This is why when we see any veterans in public (marines, soldiers etc.) just go up to them and say, "Thank you, for everything." It would mean a lot to them. A simple thank you is enough
The soldier giving the little kid the flag, usually if his father has died, his mother would have received it. This probably means that both of his parents have died.
The men and woman that serve this beautiful country of ours are the bravest people on the face of the earth.Respect to all men and woman in our military.
I hope you all can rest easy knowing that I will one day join the fight.
