define 90's kid because as last time i checked in order to be a 90's kid the only thing you had to do was being born in the 90's. which i was for example and i just finished middle school.
From what I've heard is that a 90's kid is a kid who grew up and can remember the 90's (for example the tv shows and games.) Meaning they were born late 80's or early 90's. A 90's baby is someone who was born in the 90's.
I believe the first one. Whether you were born on Jan 1st 1990 at 12:00:01 AM, or Dec 31st 1999 at 11:59:59 PM, or somewhere in between, you are a 90s kid.
Probably cause most people don't think being born in 99 makes you a nineties kid,me included. I was born in 99 and even though I know a lot of 90's stuff I don't consider myself a 90's kid
Thing some people have when it comes to 90's kids is that they believe to be one is you have to see the episodes when they originally aired in the 90's not the repeats. But it's also no just about the tv shows.
Who cares about being a 90s kid? I was born in 1996, and I had a fairly decent childhood watching amazing tv shows. Is it really all that important to "be a 90s kid".
I was born in 1995. I can remember as far back as 2 years old, so I do remember a lot of the shows and toys and food that was popular. I mostly remember 90s toys though because we couldn't afford the newest stuff so I had older toys throughout the early 2000s. And I don't consider anyone who doesn't remember the 90s a 90s kid. My sisters were born in 1998 and don't remember a whole lot about the 90s, so I don't consider them 90s kids. Based on the internets interpretation of a 90s kid, I would say the definition is someone who can remember the simpler times of the 90s, someone who appreciates the nostalgia of it, and anyone who still owns a furby or Backstreet Boys cd. And if you still own a VCR then lets be besties. I have 5!
I was born in 95 too and I still feel a littlee weird about saying Im a 90's kid just beacause i missed HALF of it. I still remember alot though. One thing that always comes to mind is watching Diddy and Faith Evans tribute to Biggie at the 97 VMAs live.
I would define being a 90s kid as the way you were raised, the toys that you played with, the games you played. Actually having a curfew, respecting your elders, the fact that a spanking wasn't considered child abuse. It was an era that extended before and beyond the 90s by a few years. The way children are raised now, is completely different than that of a "90s kid".
I was born 1993 and I remember when Rugrats the movie first came out And Nintendo 64 007 Goldeneye ,Supermario 64 and ,Perfect dark my first game system was a ,Playstation Crash Bandicoot ,Frogger ,Spyro the dragon Spyro was the game :-)
I was born in '98 and my sister was in '95 so I would consider myself one berceuse my sister helped me relive it all with her old toys and the tv shows we both watched. But honestly who cares? It's just whenever you were born. Can someone born in 2000 still have an equally good childhood as someone born in 1994? Just because they might have different tv shows ( when the were little they were probably the same anyway) and SOME different toys doesn't mean they're worse. I dont understand what's so special here.
Why would you all fight so hard to be a 90's kid?! Who cares, be a 2000's kid and own in. I was born in the 80's and am a '90's kid' and you know what I feel when I say that?! OLD! Haha!
The only reason why I know stuff from the 90's is because I have older brothers and sisters who introduced me to it. So I grew up like I was living in the 90's, even though I was born 1998 (which apparently isn't considered a 90's kid, although I accept that. I was a 90's baby).
I was born in 2000, February 5. But! I remember reruns of classics and got scared of the same Nickelodeon bumpers. When it comes down, I have memories just like 90s kids
I never realized until recently all the debate and fighting going on over being a 90's kid. I don't want to be involved in all of this but I want to make a comment because some people really take this to heart. For the people trying to rub it in others faces about being a 90's kid, you should stop, you shouldn't make someone feel bad about when they were born, they can't help it. And to those that really want to be a 90's kid, instead of wasting your energy arguing about if you are a 90's kid or not, wait a few more years and you can argue with the next generation about who is a true 00's kid, if you really need to feel superior. I miss the 90's myself, you can be proud, your decade. I think the problem is that people see that the 90's was the last decade where kids could be kids instead of being invaded by social media. If there are things you don't like about your decade then don't take part in it,if you want to like 90's stuff then go ahead, no one should stop you from that. Rant over
In remember that the the nineties were great I grow up watching full house, rugrats, and and Sabrina the teenage witch. I remember Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and backstreet boys. I remember when you had to pay for email using AOL. Also you could not go on the Internet an use the phone at the same time.
Born in 1980 was teen in 90s
I was Born in March 30, 1996 and I can honestly say I remember a lot ! My childhood, cartoons, games, some music and about those times I ended up in the ER for Asthma Attacks and that one time because I was Bleeding from my Front Forhead... If this helps you guys, 1990-1993 (Early 90's) 1994-1996 (Mid 90's) 1997-1999 (late 90's) as long as we were born in the 90's we are all 90's ! :)
Born 1990 and I'm a 90's kid. I would say anyone born between 1982-1991 is a 90's kid because we were all kids in the 90's then we entered the 2000's as kids and became adults (turning 18, leaving high school, and starting college) within the same decade. My older sister was born in 82 making her an older 90's kid, so we did a lot of things together and I had friends that were 2 and 3yrs older. So I remember the decade and I was old enough to be aware that year 2000 was an entirely different decade and a different century. I have lots of memories from that time. 92, 93, and 94ers probably remember the late 90's but they're the beginning of the 00's which is also pretty cool. 00's are the very last group to live in a time before technology completely took over and were alive to see the early stages of it. 10's kid won't have that advantage. They're whole lives will be smartphones, social media, etc. give it time and everyone will be wishing they were an 00's kid too.
