I'm sure everyone has at least heard of Oktoberfest. But for those unfamiliar, it's a celebration originating in Munich, Bavaria involving food, parades, and of course beer. More specifically, Oktoberfest beer, which is a special type of beer call Märzenbier (March beer) brewed only in said city.
Having been held in Munich since 1810, it's considered an integral part of the city's heritage. However, its observance is not restricted to Munich alone, and beer-lovers around partake with their version of the festival.
The festivities begin in Mid September (this year, 2023, on the 16th) and end in early October. (Feels like it should be called Septemberfest theb, but eh chunging beer doesn't leave much room for sensible naming.)
