Hulking literate glamorous

When I was younger (don't remember actually BEING young) summer was when we'd scrape and paint the rent houses my parents owned, build fence, cut trees, mow 4x a week for the neighborhood people and mother kept the cash because she could invest it for her future. I was bullied several times a week in school from kindergarten to graduate HS... and STILL found it preferable to being at residence (what other people might call "home").
