Ask her/him out! If you never do, then you'll always wonder "what if....." if he/she does make jokes like this, he/she probably have some interest and it is not entirely "joking"

as a guy who has had more female friends than male, sometimes it takes you to make the first move.

Quite hard for me most of my friends are outgoing (one is funny crazy and pretty and the other one is nice pretty and thin) and all the guys I've friends with go for them and then I'm left...

I married the man that I friend-zoned. Let me tell you that I was not even physically attracted to him. Anyways, this conniving man asked my friend/neighbor out. (He told me later he just knew she would run tell me). I had tried fixing him up with other girls before so I have no idea why this time (when he asked her out) it bothered me so much. I confronted him about it and he laughed and asked, "why does it bother you so much, if you aren't interested in me like that?" When he laughed it made me so mad! I don't know why it bothered me then...I guess at that point I was starting to like the idiot....more than just friends but was in denial. Then he kissed me.HARD n soft at the same time, like he was gonna make it worth it if I slapped him. But instead I liked it...more than I ever thought I would. Long story short, we said our "I do's" on the beach this May. And he's still an idiot, but one that I could not picture my life without. We started out as best friends and now...well.... :)
