Αww, thank you! I've wanted to tag you on some random posts as well, but I didn't know if it'd be weird, given that I don't know you well! How's it going?
Alright, will do! Good luck with your exams! Is it your final year of highschool or are you in uni? I'm in a pretty good mood today. I've no exams yet, but I have work to keep me anxious haha!
So soon? That's great! Any plans for the summer? My parents own a restaurant/pizza place and I take orders over the phone, handle money and stuff like that! It might not sound like much, but I have to deal with rude customers, and we're pretty busy
Well, it's Winter here and I'm heading over to some sort of festival where I get to sing. :)
Oh, that does sound hectic! Rude customers are especially the worst. Any particularly customers that you'd like to rant about? I love hearing those.
Really? Where are you from? I thought you were in Australia. That sounds fun, I hope you nail your performance! There was this drunk guy that called one day, and he started cursing and calling me names over the phone, solely because I asked him to repeat himself, since he wasn't making sense! Some people are really rude. Now every time he calls I ask someone else to pick it up
I am in Australia, and for us, June/July is Winter haha! And thank you so much!
Ugh, that's just horrible. Drunk people can be weird, but sometimes they can be downright funny. My uncle got drunk once and he literally tried to elope with a mop.
Ooooh, that makes sense now that I think about it. It's weird, though! Haha sounds like a fun uncle to have around. I don't think I have any stories with drunk relatives. How old are you?
Too hot during the summer, although we do have beautiful beaches and islands, and delicious food. But I've always wanted to live abroad, which is why I'll be moving for uni soon
Scotland! I've been in love with it for years. This might sound slightly creepy, but I've always thought you were a really interesting person, and wanted to talk to you. But I'm too shy to initiate conversations
Okay that has to be the coolest freaking thing ever! Please - you need to learn the accent and teach me how to use a Scottish accent! That'd be so cool! And haha, don't worry - me too, actually! You seem really cool, but I didn't want to just be like 'yo yo yo'. But then I saw this post and decided to be brave
Ι'm watching tutorials on Youtube, but there aren't that many. So I'll ask my Scottish friends to teach me when I get there. Really? I'm so flattered! I wanted to talk to you on the Truth or Dare chat, but that's not its purpose, so I didn't know how to approach you. Again, not in a weird way haha! How much is our time difference? What time is it there?
Yes, and I'll teach you an Australian accent?
I totally understand the struggle! Like, I don't want people gettting annoyed because I'm not using the chat for the right reasons haha. And right now it is almost 6AM.
Yes! Hopefully, I can travel to several more countries and learn those accents. It is my dream to go to Russia, haha! And jeez, is it Monday or Sunday?
Aaah, that's so cool! I only speak English, but I'd like to learn as many languages as I can. We had French in school, but it's been years, so I don't remember much. Do you have any siblings?
I have one little brother who is ten years younger than me! It's quite hectic; you'd think we would get along with the huge age gap, but he loves to try annoying me haha. You?
That's not a bad thing, necessarily. I was an only child for ten years and I quite enjoyed it. It just meant that I had to be perfect in every way. Do you get that too?
I can't complain; I like not being annoyed! But sometimes I get pretty lonely, and wish I had that kind of relationship with someone. My best friend is the closest I have to a sibling. Uuhm, not really, actually. I've never felt that kind of pressure. I'm afraid of disappointing people, but I think that that's what my personality is like in general. I don't know if that comes from me being an only child. By the way, let me know if I don't make sense sometimes, and excuse any grammar mistakes haha.
Don't worry, I haven't noticed any grammar mistakes and you make perfect sense to me! And aww, I understand the loneliness. I know I have a sibling, but it's weird to talk to a seven year old about my life problems and ambitions, so it's weird. My parents love him so much and they tend to forget me sometimes haha! And disappointing people is one of my fears as well!
Alright. Yeah, I think that he'll be the one to come to you with his problems first! But you'll have the chance to do that later, when he's older. Until then, that's what friends are for. Hmm, do you feel left out?
Yeah, a little. I'm a bit of a disappointment in that they want me to be a doctor but that's never really been my interest, so they're a little pissy about that. But that aside, you're an adult! How does it feel? XD
I suppose I can relate to that one, although my parents didn't want me to specifically be a doctor. To be honest, it doesn't feel different at all. I still live with my parents (but that's another story), so I haven't experienced the responsibilities of leaving completely alone yet. But I cook my own food, do the housework, pay for my own groceries and other expenses etc. I don't sit around all day and expect them to take care of me. I've been able to do things I wanted from a really young age, so it wasn't like I was expecting to be 18 to finally be "free". Hence why I don't feel any different. But I was never spoiled
Thank you! I like being responsible! I'll be studying psychology in September. I know I'm older than most people starting university, but it's never too late to do what you want. What are you interested in doing after school?
That's right, it's never too late. And awesome! Psychology is one of my interests, but my heart has always been in theatre haha - but it's extremely ambitious. So I might try psychology but keep my singing/dancing/acting stuff as a hobby.
Αre you kidding? I love acting as well! But I think it's kind of risky, and I also thought of persuing it as a hobby while studying psychology! I've always wanted to become an actress! I'm not even joking! How awesome!
We also share the same birthday! Definitely film. I'd like to be able to have as many chances as I want to get it right, in case I make a mistake. Although, theatre is nice as well, provided that you practise a lot. I'm pretty shy, so a live audience would make me nervous. Which one are you most interested in?
We do! I love both equally, because I love performing to people and my voice is a very musical theatre voice. But film also interests me because just seeing casts work on set together is so interesting and seems like a worthwhile experience!
Okay. Let's run away and become an acting duo xD
I wish I had a nice voice! But I'm really glad you do, and I hope you're able to succeed in anything you want to do! Yes, let's do that! We can make our own movies together and work our way to the top :p off topic, but have you ever been abroad?
Thank you! That must have been amazing! Wooow, Asia is big! How did you manage to do that? I've never been abroad, but there are so many places I'd love to visit! Do you have a bucket list?
We used to live in PNG, and my dad had a travelling budget as part of his salary - so we travelled a bit every year, and managed to cover lots of Asia! I've never really made a bucket list haha - I should definitely create one. What's on yours?
What was it like there? Travelling sounds so much fun! Mostly places I'd like to visit, some foods, animals that I'd like to see, and stuff like that! Mainly experiences, and not many objects. I have another irrelevant question. How did your parents choose your name? Which I love by the way!
It changes from place to place! Some places are amazing - my favourite is South Korea. I remember asking for lemonade, and they gave me a glass of water with a lemon in it haha. And I have no idea how they chose my name. I asked her just now, and apparently she was reading a magazine once with the name of some Greek mythology haha. what's your name?
I'm more into European countries to be honest, although I don't know why! But Asia, America, and Australia are also on my list. That's so awesome! My name's Georgia, and I was named after my grandfather. It's tradition. Although, nowadays, younger people tend to choose whatever name they want
I've always wanted to visit Europe, but apparently the travelling budget wasn't that expansive haha! Oh that's lovely! Georgia is such a beautiful name. And haha, hell yeah they so. Perfect example would be Kanye West's poor child, North West
Maybe you'll be able to do that when you're older. Now that I think about it, I suppose money and proximity are the reasons I have more European countries on my list. Thank you! That's true; it sounds ridiculous. So will you be going to university in Australia or are you thinking of studying abroad?
That's a good start. It's similar to what I did after school, when I wasn't sure what to do, and didn't know that leaving Greece was an option. So I worked at my parents' restaurant until I figured it out. At first I wanted to be a criminologist, but psychology ended up fascinating me more. Let me know if you ever need any help with that. I'm sorry to hear that :/ are you good at chemistry? Tomorrow's your last exam, right?
Yeah, t is. I'm good at chemistry, but the teachers aren't that great and they purposely make the test extremely difficult because they never word the questions properly and it's hard to extrapolate information and stuff. But hopefully it goes well! And criminology is cool too. I've always been interested in forensic psychologists, just trying to understand how and why people do the things they do you know?
What the hell? What kind of teachers are these? This is so much different than the educational system experience I've been accustomed with. I had to google "extrapolate" by the way. Yeah, I might look into that once I'm in uni. I want to see what kind of options I have first, before deciding on my Masters field. I'd like to ask the professors' opinions. Yes I do! Brains are truly fascinating! And scary at the same time. Good luck with your test! Let me know how it goes
Most of the teachers are so good but these chemistry teachers will scowl and hiss at you if you ask them a small question. Yes, definitely a little scary - and I totally agree with you. It's good to see the options before you dive in :) Thank you!!!
Yeah, we do. Music, sport, the stuff. Do you? And oooh, that's a toughie. My favourite thing is the people - generally everyone is friendly and lovely. Least favourite is the humidity and heat during the summer - it gets unbearable! What about you for Greece?
Oh boy, we do. But we have extracurricular classes for every school subject. It's ridiculous! But we kind of have to. I mean, our final exams determine which university we'll go to, depending on our grades. School isn't enough to learn those things, cause most teachers don't care. I don't know how to explain this, but we also have different divisions at school during the last two years of highschool. So someone who is interested in psychology, will be taking theoretical classes (Greek language, latin, literature), whereas someone who is interested in economics, will be taking "science" classes (math, physics, chemistry). We start preparing for the final exams 2 years before, and the grades on those subjects are the most important thing for each "division". I talk to much dammit, and I don't know if I'm making sense. Uhm, probably the same things you said haha!
No such thing as talking too much! That was all really interesting and I got the gist. Over here, you choose all your subjects - so you can make the mix as weird as can be. But we don't have psychology in our school, which sucks. So I assume you're doing the psychology mix of subjects?
That's actually really cool, and how things should be. No, we don't have psychogy in school either, I meant for uni. I think I didn't do a good job at explaining :/ those who want to be psychologists at uni, choose the theoretical subjects in school, but those who want to become doctors, choose the science subjects in school. Yeah, I was attending the theoritical classes when I was at school, but only because they were easier. I'd already decided back then to not sit for the final exams, cause I wasn't interested in getting into university at the time.
Oh I get it now. That's cool! I do the most random mix of subjects right now haha. I do biology, chemistry, maths, English, music and drama - so it's quite random!
Chemistry was not as bad as I thought it would be! I feel pretty okay about it! And we are taught languages; you get to choose between French, Chinese, Japanese and German - but I chose not to learn a language since I already know three and mix them up quite regularly xD
Will the crowd be big? It's been quiet so far, and today is my day off, so I'll probably watch a movie and play with my doggos. In the evening, right? How has yours been?
What song/songs will you be performing? I don't know their exact breeds. They're mixed. They were both stray puppies that I fell in love with and had to take home. Bella is the older one, and Hera has been with us for a year now. How about your doggo? Haha I was planning to ask you if you like movies. Well, I'm a Disney fan, so either a Disney film, or something I've never watched before. Or something I've watched before, but haven't watched in a while :p That will depend on my mood
I'm not actually sure - that's the thing. They haven't confirmed the program rip. Oh well. XD Aww, that's beautiful! I used to have a stray doggo in Fiji and she was beautiful. And my need doggo is a tiny little bean - still a baby. He is a Maltese cross poodle. And omg I'm a Disney fan too! What are your favourites?
What? And it's only three weeks away? What do you mean by "need doggo"? Aaaw, I've always loved those cutie patooties! What's his name? Yeeeees! Merida is my favourite princess, and I really like Hercules, Mulan, and basically the majority of their movies! Which are yours?
Yeah - I know! It's a little stressful but I've got the full list of songs, so I may as well learn them all. XD Lucky most of them are group songs haha! And I meant new doggo, whoops! And his name is Breeze :) Merida is amazing, and so are Mulan and Hercules! Good choices! I agree with them, and I also love The Lion King, Up, Zootopia and (dont hurt me) Frozen xD
Did you get to choose the songs, or did they give them to you? What kind of songs are they by the way? Breeze? That's so cuuuute, I love it! The Lion King was my favourite growing up! I haven't watched Zootopia yet. Is it good? Why would I hurt you? I love Frozen! It's an unpopular opinion, but I do :p
They gave them to me. The choir ones are choir songs, though there are a few interesting jazz ones that I have TK learn. :) Haha thank youuu! Omg Zootopia is freakinf amazing!!! It's my inspiration. It's so sweet and the plot is great and all the characters are fabulous. I definitely recommend it! And oh thank goodness - everyone gets annoyed at me when I say I like Frozen. It's just such a good film though!
Good luck with practising ^_^ are they well-known songs? You sound excited, so I'll definitely put it on my list! Thanks for the suggestion! Yeah, I know! People think it's overrated, but I really like it! Also, which are your favourite music artists/bands?
Thank you! They're not really well known, so if I make a mistake, I'll be fine XD Me too! And oh, favourite bands are artists are always so hard for me to pick. let me think about those! What about you?
That's cool! I've never heard any of them - in so behind in all the latest trends. The last metal-ish song I heard was probably by fall out boy or panic at the disco
I often feel like that as well! When people talk about Youtubers or anime and stuff like that haha. I've heard of both, but I haven't listened to any panic at the disco songs
Me too! I feel so awkwardly out of place haha. I don't usually listen to their songs, but I got hooked by their song 'House of Memories' - that was a nice song!
I'm glad I'm not alone :p we'll feel out of place together! So I listened to it, and I was pleasantly surprised! I loved the guy's voice. I was expecting them to be different to be honest.
Hahaha that actually made me laugh! I usually exhale rapidly through my nose :p I don't think it's true though. I believe you have set realistic goals, so it should be easy for you to achieve them
He's created this magical world, and it's so inspiring and beautiful! For me too, to be honest. The next book on my "to buy" list is 1984. Have you read it?
Hell yeah! It's a great novel! Quite dark, but it really shows you things about the potential future of our world. It's so thought provoking - I loved it! I did an assignment on it too xD
Alright, thanks! I was kind of doubting my decision, since I'm rather picky, but I've always thought it'd be interesting. So no spoilers, please :p I love thought provoking videos/movies/books!
Alright, thanks for the suggestion! Hey, sorry I was late, it was 3 in the morning here and I had to sleep. It's so hot here today! What's it like there, now that winter is coming?
Whoa, not a problem! Don't ever apologise; we all have lives haha. And it's quite nice and chilly - lots of warm blankets, hot teas and books haha. Winter is my favourite, even though it doesn't even get that cold. Now, imagine going somewhere like Canada xD
Well, I tend to apologise a lot, especially when I'm first getting to know people haha! That sounds lovely! Winter is my favourite as well! Probably because I've only experienced heat. It's almost 90 degrees today, and it's not even July or August. Canada must be so beautiful, though! Ok, I know it's a weird question, but have you ever seen a therapist or psychologist? Let me know if it's too personal for you to answer
No need to! And I agree; the cold is amazing. And ninety degrees farheinheit, right? XD I will never get used to unit conversions lol. And oh okay, yes I have actually. Why do you ask? Have you ever seen one?
Yeah, fahrenheit. I had to convert it using Google. Wait, you guys have Celsius too? I haven't, but I've been thinking of seeing one, actually, and I wanted to ask how you found the experience. Was it enlightening? I don't want you to get into too much detail if you're not comfortable with it. And my mental health is just fine, but I've been struggling with some things lately, and I wanted to try it, you know?
Yep, I use Celsius! And well, I guess it just depends on the reason you want to go. For most people, it is very helpful and I definitely recommend it! For me, it was a lost cause because they were trying to change a habit that I've had since I was a small wee child, so no luck. But it did help me anyways, because I realised I need to be more subtle and that people do care. :) so yeah. May I ask about your mental health? Is everything okay? I know you said you are, but hey, I'm here for you :)
Oooh, sorry, I didn't know that! Correction: it's 32° today :p Alright, so the overall experience was pleasant. Did the therapist/psychologist guide you and asked questions? Cause I wouldn't know what to say or where to start! Simply because I wouldn't be going with a specific problem in mind! Yes, I'm totally fine, and I really appreciate your concern and support. You're very sweet! I'm just really stressed out lately and I thought that talking to a professional might help.
Damn, that's quite warm! Okay, so my entire scenario is a little strange. So she kind of assumed I had an eating disorder, but I didn't exactly. But basically, she asked questions, but she'd mostly get me to do the talking. They're really friendly and if you're stressed, they're great at helping you out. It definitely would help :)
She assumed? That's strange. Did your parents suggest that you see her, or was it your choice? And you're ok now, right? Thank you, I had some doubts, but I might actually consider it. Random question: do you have any celebrity crushes?
Oh, no. My friend was particularly worried about me so she spoke to the councillor (my friend is quite paranoid), and so it was less of an assumption but more of gathering information from my friend. But the lady was very kind and open minded and didn't jump to conclusions openly. We just started off awkwardly haha XD And yep, I've been fine - there was nothing to worry about in the first place. And ooooh, not really . like, I've admired lots of celebrities but I've never actually had any crushes. You?
Who are those crushes? Okay, Sam Claflin is up there but Eddie Redmayne and Leonardo DiCaprio both take the crowns. I'm a huge fan of Rachel Tucker on broadway, as well
James McAvoy, Tom Hardy and Michael Fassbender. I also admire their talent and personalities! So it's not only about looks haha! I like your choices as well! And I also love Gary Oldman! He can do anything! I'm not really familiar with Broadway to be honest, so I don't know who Rachel Tucker is :/
Did someone recommend that you check it out? Pleaaaaase don't hate me, but he's never really been one of my favourites. I guess I don't appreciate his sense of humour, you know? I'm not saying he's not talented; it's just that he never impressed me as a comedian. But I like him in general. He seemed like a very sweet person!
Yep! And no, I don't hate you haha - that's fair enough. I never admired him much for his comedy so much as his ability to impersonate other voices and always be so energetic and radiant - especially since I adore the Genie in Aladdin.
Haha, to be fair, it was the other school that did those musicals but they were an all-boys school, so they had to invite some girls to play the female roles xD
Is squash the one with the rackets and walls? I used to play volleyball in school, but now I choose other ways to exercise. I love volleyball, but I don't have time or teammates haha!
I love lamb! I just haven't had it in soup before. Grilled pork chops with french fries! My mum makes the best french fries. And I also looove shrimp. Or is it prawn? I don't know how they're called in English
What else is in the soup? Alright, as long as they mean the same haha. And you know what? I might make some on Sunday or Monday. So do you have any plans other than the festival?
Potato, carrots, a few vegetables here and there. It's really simple but it tastes so good! And oh, sounds amazing! And no, not really. Just come back home and relax, sleep, eat, read and play with pupper. XD I'm quite lazy actually.
That sounds delicious! My mum makes something similar and I love it. Lamb soup must be delicious! Back home? Where are you now? I mean, is your school far from home? I'm quite lazy too. I want to do things and I sort of make plans of what I'm going to do each day, but I always end up doing nothing. Your plans sound awesome!
Oh, I'm at home but the festival will be somewhere else haha. My school is quite close, maybe a 15 minute drive unless you include traffic. Me too! I relate!!
That's all good! I've never actually been to one of those big alcoholics parties that I know lots of people go too. I've been invited, but I've never felt comfortable going.
Neither have I! It's reaaally not my kind of entertainment; and luckily, my two real life friends are on the same page. We prefer staying at home rather than going out. And even if we do go out, it'll be somewhere quiet :p I hate clubs! I feel like we're very similar in character :p
Haha me too! All three of my best friends are introverts (though I'm not) but we still have fun by going to each other's places and doing movie marathons or trying to murder each other over Monopoly. Haha we probably are! Do you know what your personality type is?
That's what I prefer as well! Plus, food always has to be present :p Did you meet them all at school? Uhm, I don't think so :/ Do you? How can I find out?
Yes! Sometimes we get to make the food and that's always fun. And yeah, we met at school. We are all so different but overarchingly pretty damn similar. And oh, there's this website call 16personalities and you can do a quiz there that will tell you :)
True! Ιt's nice that you get along and are able to have so much fun, though! Sorry I was late, I was doing the quiz. It says that I'm an advocate, and there are also a bunch of percentages :p do I tell you those as well?
Haha, sure! Tell me whatever you feel like sharing - I'm a Campaigner, I believe. And yes, I love my friends - though we can get a little wild and crazy at times.
Oh, I actually closed the tab, sorry :/ It was a pretty accurate quiz, though! Thanks for telling me about it! Hhm, so maybe our personalities don't match, but we just like similar things! Well, those friendships are the best!
That's fine haha! Yes, I agree! The Advocate and the campaigner are pretty similar in a way, in that they're both diplomats who are intuitive and and are good with feelings, so yay! Hopefully there shouldn't be any misunderstandings between us then haha xD
That's what the percentages suggested for my personality as well. So yeah, I guess they're pretty similar. Oh, I highly doubt that there would be. Anything I should know not to mention just in case? I generally avoid conflict anyway, and I tend to be a peacemaker, but you never know :p is anything off limits?
Nah, nothing to worry about. I'm a peacemaker too and it's almost impossible to make me angry. Even if you insult me or a friend, I'll try to understand where you're coming from and politely tell you how I feel. So nothing to worry about haha!
Yeap! Usually at 11am! You? I hope your schedule is normal haha! Alright, so you'll be free after that! Good luck with the remaining exams! Do you think you'll be able to prepare in time?
I'm an early sleeper. I sleep at 9-10PM and wake up at 6 haha. Wow - that means you must have breakfast and lunch together, right? And yeah, I should be fine haha! Thank you!
Haha wooow! Either way is way too early :p I think my schedule sucks because of work. I work in the afternoon and come back home around midnight. Which is when I'm able to relax on FS! Well, we have lunch kind of late anyway, so I had breakfast a while ago. Lunch should be ready around 3pm! Have you eaten already?
Haha, I'm a very sleep driven person. And ohh, fair enough - I can see the struggle. I'm about to have dinner, actually! I made myself some spicy noodles. Our family just went out to buy some groceries and I got my eyebrows done.
So am I, in a way :p Oh right! It must be around 20:20 where you are! Bon appétit! I've never had noodles! Really? By yourself? Or did you go to a professional?
Hmmm, I might give them a shot next time I run out of lunch or dinner ideas :p off topic, but I just arrived at our beach house a while ago, and it's so quiet and relaxing! Plus, this is the first time we have wifi in the 8 years we own it! I'm so excited!
I hope it didn't sound like I was bragging; I'm just really happy! I needed some time away from work! I guess you could say I like the beach! But I mostly enjoy listening to the ocean! I'm slightly afraid of the sea, especially where it's too deep. Pretty ironic considering my username! Do you like the beach?
No, it didn't at all! Oh that's amazing. Haha, I'm sort of the opposite. I don't like beaches - I hate it when sand gets in places where sand just shouldn't be. And I can't stand the sun (ironic because of my name too) so I've never been a fan. But once I get in the ocean, my favourite moment is seeing all the fish and the blue and also that moment where you step off the ledge and all that is beneath you is an endless blue - nothing beneath your feet and it's so deep that you cannot see the bottom. My friends would always throw their goggles down into the great depths and I'd have to swim down quickly and get it before it went too far (otherwise I'd run out of breath)
I can't stand the sun either! That's why I prefer winter! Wooooow! Aren't you scared? And you guys have ledges? We don't have those where I am at the moment! I was on vacation with my best friend once, and a few metres away from the beach there was this tiny island with a church on it. So my friend thought it'd be fun if we swam to it. Like I said, I've always been afraid of the deep parts of the sea, but I thought "why the hell not?". That all changed when I saw the dark seaweed beneath my feet! I panicked, turned around and swam to the shore as fast as I could! I was literally out of breath, and my friend was laughing! She managed to reach the island though, and I was even able to zoom in and take a picture of her. Ah, I talk too much today!
Nah, I don't get scared a lot. I'm scared of weird things - like grasshoppers. XD Mo, talk as much as you want! And aww, that's fine. Back where I used to live, we used to have starfishes that had spikes on them, like big spikes. And we were jumping off boats for fun and my friend landed on one of those starfishes - and it's big spike impaled her foot. It was bloody and painful and she had many stitches.
Haha grasshoppers suck! I'm scared of centipedes! They're disgusting and I hate them! Yeah, I know what you're talking about! Luckily, I've never stepped on one! Any other sea-related stories?
Sea related? Hmmm I do remember getting to go on a jet ski, and it was so much fun. I kept telling the driver to go faster and faster until he basically exceeded the legal limit for a jet ski. It was great XD The thrill was brilliant.
Haha that must have been interesting! You sound like an adventurous person! The most extreme thing I've done, is go on a ferris wheel. It might not sound like much, but I was scared haha!
Yep, I'm in love with adrenaline. I used to be so scared of everything but I've grown out of it and now I love the feeling haha - and hey, everyone has their fears. If you put me into a room of grasshoppers, I would genuinely curl up into a ball and hyperventilate. xD
That's an awesome way to look at it! I have some adrenaline-indusing activities on my list, so I hope I'm able to cross them off it. That sounds scary haha!
Oh, could you share some of those activities? I think the way I got over my fear was that I'd pretend that I wasn't scared, and I'm be busy trying to calm everyone else that I'd end up calming myself too. Not sure if that would work for you though haha.
There's stuff like bungee jumping, or that thing where they strap you on top of a plane, or swimming with sharks! I really hope I'm given the opportunity to do all these things! Have you even done any of that? Haha I get what you're saying. If I was with a friend who was scared, I'd probably act like it's not a big deal, and I'd go first :p
Bungee jumping is the best feeling in the world! I definitely recommend it - and I'm yet to do the others, though I'm pretty sure I've swam in shark infested waters haha! I'm sure you'll be able to - and yes, me too! I am a pretty short person, so on the really risky and dangerous rides, they usually consider me too short to go on it without an adult - but all the adults I know are too scared to go on it with me
Well, I'll definitely look into it then! We're fortunate enough to not have sharks here :p hahaha really? How tall are you, if I may ask? What else have you done? ^_^
Awwww! Haha don't worry, we use cm too! I'm 165cm! And my friends are taller than me, and they make fun of me sometimes! My 12-year-old cousin is almost as tall as I am, and it's weird!
Well, yeah, it is! She likes to stand next to me and compare our height. I know this is off topic, but time zones are weird! It's still 14:19 here, but it's nighttime there
Awww! I'm a cool friend? Thank you ^_^ At least there are times during the day when all your friends are awake! Even for a while! I just had some ice cream, and I'm really content haha!
Nope! "Today" is my day off, and so is tomorrow, cause it's a religious holiday, so we're closed. I guess there's a better word for religious holiday, but I don't know what that might be :p what are your plans for today?
Oh awesome! What sort of religious holiday is it? And I plan on reading a book, doing the chores and resting. I might write a short story if I feel like it haha
Haha, I don't post it on sites but I would share it with you for sure! I like to write all sorts of things, but I tend to focus more on psychological thrillers or ones with random twists at the ends.
And I'm agnostic :)
Alright, I can give you my email if you want. It's perfectly fine if you decide that you don't want to share it though! And you can contact me for anything you want! Oooooh, I love plot twists! Do you like comedians? This has nothing to do with our conversation btw haha
Absolutely, there's no rush haha! You're the writer, take your time! I think some of them are funny, but I don't watch videos of them perform. I enjoy watching show interviews though. With various famous people!
Yes me too! It's so nice seeing how close all the actors have gotten during film time, and they all seem so fun! I haven't watched an interview in a long long time though. XD
Oh my goodness I just remembered seeing this thing
With Benedict Cumberbatch
Ahhh what was it called??
Oh! Mad Lib theatre with Jimmy Fallon. You have to watch it - I laughed!
I already haaave! I love watching Jimmy Fallon because of his guests! I think Jimmy's a bit fake to be honest, but he has his moments as well. You should check out the Graham Norton show! I love how all the guests are relaxed and share so many personal stories. And it's not just one guest at a time. It's the only show that never fails to make me laugh! And I don't easily laugh at stuff; I'm quite picky haha!
I agree - and I certainly will! I'm pretty easy to laugh at things, well, actually, it's easy to make me smile. Making me laugh is harder though I tend to fake it just so that I don't look like the awkward person on the side.
Yeah, I smile easily as well! Especially on here! I like how you put my thoughts into words haha. I read your comments and I think to myself "oh my lord, saaame!", but I try to make my comments sound more complete and eloquent, if that makes sense :p notice the key-word "try" haha! I wish I was better with worda
Yes, me too! And there's the huge struggle of wanting to use proper grammar, but not wanting to sound cold because full stops tend to give that formal sense to everything. Do you know what I mean?
Yes, I do know what you mean! But I like punctuation :p it leaves no room for misunderstandings, and it makes everything easier to read. I'm sure I miss some commas here and there, but meh! Good evening!
Do you guys go there often? Whoa, that's super early! I live in a village, and my grandfather (who lives very close to us) has chickens as well, but they've never woken me up. I can hear them sometimes around 5am though; which is when I usually go to sleep :p
Not so much, anymore. Haha, fair. Only chickens are genuinely crazy. They're always shrieking in the morning. The roosters have that competition on who can serenade the sunrise the loudest or something, but if you're a light sleeper like me, it means no sleep. xD
Yep! It was a lot better than I thought it would be haha. We had to write a short story under pressure with a time limit and mine was cringey but oh well xD How was work?
Nice! I'm glad you did well! Eh, at least you tried! Did you have to write about something specific? Hectic and exhausting, but I've gotten used to it. And it's only a month before I stop working so often, so I'll be patient!
It had to be based on the topic of 'Who cares?' and there were several quotes and images to stimulate your ideas. Aww, you can do it! Will you miss the chaos?
Oooh, that sounds interesting! Uuh, at this point in my life I'm actually looking forward to leaving everything behind. So I guess my answer is no :p I went shopping today, so I'm kind of excited! What did you do today?
When will you know? My uncle's niece (from his sister's side). She works at my parents' restaurant. And so do 5 other members of her family, so we'll be short-staffed on that day. My parents and I will only go to the reception after the ceremony. How are you today?
So soon? Awesome! Uuhm, I guess. I like seeing people happy, so I think I am. Have you got anything planned? Or have you planned absolutely nothing, and you are just excited to relax? :p
I've never been a fan of weddings, actually. I like seeing the happy people, but that's where it ends. I don't like having to get dressed up, and usually my extended family will be there and Fijian families are just so... dramatic. XD But yes, I am so excited to relax and just sleep.
I don't like having to dress up either, so the good thing is that we don't get invited to many weddings. Haha Greeks can be like that too. Have you ever seen "My big fat Greek wedding"? I actually haven't heard of any stereotypes about Fijians, so this is the first time I learn that they can be dramatic :p
Wow! I didn't know our cultures were so much alike! Ok, so I've been talking to Krista on a post of hers from over a year ago, and we reached over 2000 comments, when I started having problems loading the post. So I contacted the FS team, and they said we crashed the page and that it's against the rules to comment anything unrelated to the post. I'm worried it's gonna happen with this post too. Sooo, would you like to give me your email? It's ok if you don't want to or if you only give it to certain people; I really won't mind. It's still been my pleasure to have talked to you for so long!
Yeah, I just got the notification, so give me a second to write my email. And we don't have to talk everyday if you're busy. I'll save your email anyway
I was on random, and this post came up - and I thought of you!
Oh, that does sound hectic! Rude customers are especially the worst. Any particularly customers that you'd like to rant about? I love hearing those.
Ugh, that's just horrible. Drunk people can be weird, but sometimes they can be downright funny. My uncle got drunk once and he literally tried to elope with a mop.
I totally understand the struggle! Like, I don't want people gettting annoyed because I'm not using the chat for the right reasons haha. And right now it is almost 6AM.
Okay. Let's run away and become an acting duo xD
And I'm agnostic :)
