This is a pet peeve of mine, either speak the language you're supposed to be speaking with subtitles below, or speak perfect english! If we're supposed to be able to understand them, why are we understanding them with an accent! The costume, setting and backgrounds should be all the info we need to understand who the actors are, so why are the shitty accents forced on the audience!!! WHY! WHY! WHY!!! I... I think I need to lie down...

cause actors like Tom Cruise can't do accents and demand that every actor speaks normally, like in Valkyrie (2008)

Tom Cruise can do an Irish accent. There was one movie I watched in school with him in it and he played a poor, Irish man

true, the movie was "far and away" (1992), then he just can't do german, why the german officers had english accents
