Why fingers get all wrinkled underwater

So why does all other skin prune in water too?

Well in that case that part of my brain is working really well! My fingers get unbeliavably pruned after a shower or a bath. It's ridiculous.

Not to be a bitch but it really is because the dead skin absorbs water :)

It actually isn't, it is because the water absorbs the water but the veins in your finger do not budge as your skin moves so it become wrinkled.
