5star retierment for that mule.,. Hope the owners scratch his rump daily ! He is amazing... Natural instinct would be to bolt so man that's one awesome mule! Deserves the world!
false, lion was shot on a hunt, note the hounds... it was already dead when they let the mule have a go at it... google it and you will find the true story...
Ya, just checked the story on snopes and cat was already dead by gunshot. Mule developed aggression toward dead cats for some reason. According to snopes story cougars are highly powerful predators and can easily kill a mule. Mules can obviously be quite dangerous also :)
sorry, i don't believe this. maybe the hunter shot the lyon then let the mule attack after or while it was dying. Preposterously unlikely that such an advanced species of predator would be so unguarded as to let a slow moving mule get a hold of its tail let alone such a purchase good enough to fling the large cat long enough and hard enought o kill it... remeber 9 lives?? well a "mountain lion" has that squared.
Understood, but it's natural. It was natural for the lion to want to stalk the dogs, and it was natural for the mule to want to protect itself and its "herd."
Damned well done.
