Well, I don't exactly make my own costume, I just a dozen different items from other costumes and combine them together to create my own. This year I'm going as a mad scientist (which isn't too difficult) but all the cool ones were boy costumes and the girls' were really slutty (Sexy Mad Scientist, really?), so now I've just taken a bunch of shit from everywhere and it looks epic. :D
Ugh, I'm sick of everyone making that lame comment. Thanks, though, navybrats3 for standing up to him (at least, I think you kinda did, I wasn't sure).
But of course. Especially hugs with kittens . . . and puppies . . . and a crapload of chocolate, with some ice cream. Those are the five things necessary in order to survive life.
Who cares. Quit posting extremely long, boring, roll your eyes, shoot yourself in the head, blood in your stool (yes that's how unhealthy I think you are) comments about every feminist post. Go back to bed ya bra burning hippy.
@redhotchilipeppers Yeah, that's what I meant. Though my own cat usually just runs away from me.
@fluffybunny1982 How the hell am I unhealthy? I'm expressing my opinion and showing my support for feminism and women's rights. How does that make me "a bra burning hippy", as you so poetically put it? Is it because I want equality, is that what makes me a hippy? Is it because I'm a feminist so I must obviously hate all men and not shave? Come on, that's the stupidest piece of crap I've heard in a long time.
I don't see how disliking the fact that most commercial female costumes are extremely sexual makes her a feminist. I mean, she eventually admitted to it, but she merely voiced her opinion. An opinion that I also agree with.
Thank you, navybrats3. I think just because kinda the underling theme of this post is women shouldn't be so sexualized and it's unfair and such is kind of a feminist (real feminist, not the stereotype) ideal. But, yes, that doesn't necessarily make me a feminist even though I am one.
Well it really wasn't that obvious. I mean just because your comments are 100 lines plus in the string when there's a post regarding women and beauty, or women and work, etc it was pretty easy to tell. Unhealthy in the head is what I meant. You're mentally unstable.
@fluffybunny1982 I highly doubt I'm mentally unstable. There's really no basis. Anyways, for this post at least, I was just commenting on the process of my Halloween costume and then you came in and said "who cares?" and made this a super long string. Anyways, it's hardly bad to have an opinion and to defend it. It's better than sitting back and doing nothing.
tbh i buy a boys costume. Cause all the boys costumes are badass and I'm not comfortable showing off my rather unattractive body to people in cold weather.
Whats the deal with american adults taking halloween so seriously and dressing up in costume? In the UK its just a normal night, except you hope to hell that no bratty kids knock on your door.
