Haha, it'd be the opposite with me. I'd be whining and complaining about why we had to leave. "I wanna go back! Who cares about your mom's funeral? I want books!"

Haha, same here. My mom hates it because I like to read the books in the store to see if it's worthy to spend the money on and she just wants to leave. She only likes reading nonfiction, informational books and she always wants to get out as soon as possible so she can get to her other errands and such. So it's understandable, but I really just wanna stay there for a solid ten hours and read to my heart's content. My personal library isn't nearly as full as it should be.

Well I kind of agree with her. I'm not the kind of reader who rereads books or likes to make annotations. I love to read, but I like getting my books from the library!

But that's different. You still like to read and if you were at a bookstore, wouldn't you at least let your boyfriend look at some books in peace and maybe do the same while he's at it (even if you weren't going to buy anything)? It sounds like this girl just dislikes reading.
