This made me start thinking about why the saying is "keep your eyes peeled" and then I started imagining someone peeling some eyes and then I realized that the saying could be about your eyelids. Like "make sure your eyelids are peeled" like opening a banana.Your eyelids are the peels of the banana. I can't believe I just realized this...
