Why does everyone skip Thanksgiving? It's pretty sweet. Kinda like the foreplay to Christmas

Because only people in the United States celebrate Thanksgiving. Granted, only Christians celebrate Christmas, but there are tons of Christians all around the world while United States citizens are generally limited to the United States.

This is actually true. On Halloween, I was on the bus to a basketball game (I'm a cheerleader) and we saw Christmas lights up.
