I asked myself that question when watching "The Bible" if that took place in the Middle East, why were they white?

well no one can really tell what Jesus looked like, not even the bible have the description of his physical features. This post actually got a point, the image of Jesus that you have now belongs to the Caucasian's Nordic race which came from central and northern Europe. Jesus came from Judea, a mountainous southern part of Israel, people who live there came from the Arabid race which explains why image of Jesus that we have now is just a mere creation, and not Jesus' actual face. :)

Random, but someone asked me to paint The Last Supper for them. I'm studying the original painting and it seems there's an extra hand next to (I think) Judas, holding a knife. It's confusing me...WHO DOES IT BELONG TO?!

If Judas is the guy on the middle-left, under that white-haired blue-robed guy, the knife and hand belong to the blue guy.

It was a lot more common for guys to have short hair rather than long

But He was a Nazarene/Nazarite (which is referring to His lifestyle not where He grew up) and they didn't cut their hair, like John the Baptist, and they didn't marry, eat dead things or drink fermented wine

And who the hell cares? Honestly. You know that in Africa Jesus is black, and in Asia he's asian, and in mexico he's hispanic? People make Jesus whatever ethnicity they need him to be to help them better understand his message.

well Jesus is not just a random character from a fiction book, he existed, and we can't just force him to be an asian or black or hispanic! if you're really an asian and people tell you that you're hispanic, would that make you an actual hispanic?

no, but if it making jesus look like he's from their ethnicity helps people better understand Jesus's message, I really don't think he gives a shit.

But this is true. Imaging Jesus as your own racial profile does help connect with him. Why do you think the Europeans made Jesus white and thin and bearded? Because that was the image of a philosopher. Real Jesus was actually rather short, stocky, curly haired, clean shaven, and strong.

The Jehovah Witnesses never describrd Jesus as white or anyone else. They drscribed Jesus as from the area he came from. Olive to dark skin with dark hair and clothed like your pic.

And you think the JWs are right? They weren't eye witnesses either.

You must remember that half of Jesus's DNA was from God. Does anyone know what God's race is? He was only half Hebrew from his mother's side. Joseph was His step-father.

So is God the Father in Heaven a physical or spiritual being?
