Aww. I wouldn't know. I haven't been in a relationship yet but I promise you'll find one. It takes some time and tried. If you don't find love than it's all for naught so don't give up!

Nah I get it. I would suggest what I did. You can't become a recluse. Give yourself reasonable time to heal then try again. Don't push yourself out there but be more careful going into a relationship. Don't do it on a whim. Know the person to an extent. And don't show that you're distrustful because you've been cheated on. You'll push away a good person that way

Yeah, that's what I plan to do. But it takes me a while to find someone I'd actually be willing to get in a relationship with. It sucks, because it was also my first time being in a relationship, and the first time I actually really trusted someone.

Same with me. It's fine if it takes a while to find someone. Better that way than going through a bunch of bad ones

That is true, but then I found this one who I thought was beautiful and perfect, and I honestly thought I would spend the rest of my life with her... then she cheated. Everything I thought was real was shaken badly, and it was incredibly painful. Because if there was one thing I thought was real and true was the love we had, but then it completely died.

I feel bad for you... I don't really know what to say to make you feel better but as someone who has been hurt by love before, you have every right to be angry, sad, depressed and even distrustful, it sucks big time.

Yeah, it really does. Thanks for your understanding, haha. It's incredible that something as incredible as love and limerence can cause as much pain as it does. But that's life.
