16 days. Also I realized because rose is in the 50th the doctor (matt smith) has to say goodbye to her again

Based on what river told tennant when they met, I think one of the first adventures with peter capaldi will be him saying good bye to river forever

Well I can't think of any more sad realizations about doctor who. Except this last one. Even steven Moffat the soulless writer who likes to hurt us has said "prepare to have your hearts ripped out" when talking about the christmas special when matt leaves
