I always kind of hate this argument, because it was never a matter of guns just running off and killing people, no shit, they were trying to limit how huge your clips could be because criminals can use huge clips and magazines to kill a lot of people really fast, and really for self-defense, why do you need more than a few bullets, especially if you're trained as you should be in shooting if you have the weapon. :/ So yeah, this was funny the first time I heard it, but now 100000 times later I'm just kind of like "enough please".

The argument is that limiting access to guns will have a very minor impact, since most criminals who use guns don't follow the law. It would be much better in the long run to invest in felon reformation and mental health treatment then limiting guns.
